Domain join error 64. Ensure that the domain controller through which you are trying to perform the domain join has the windows time service started. This proves very useful in identifying which account was used so we can check proper rights etc. We see the domain name it is joining the account used in the join the os version and so on.
Resolution make sure that the dc through which you are trying to join the domain has the windows time service started. Kb 892501 the directory service has exhausted the pool of relative identifiers. This topic uses managed object format mof syntax.
I think when i do this through scripts this is a two part process as i recall hazily that the computer needed to be in the domain before we could set the ou. Have the first join the computer the the domain and then have the second set the ou.
