It is very possible to be a domain admin and not have permissions to certain objects if you are part of a child domain. How do i change the group scope from global to domain local. We have a domain controller running on windows2012r2.

Domain local greyed out. Good day all i have an ad domain running on server 2012r2. When the clients are connected to the network all is fine. It s grayed out and i cannot recreate the group because members already populated.

When i try to login to one of the client computer with domain user credentials i. But when users login to their laptop while not connected all search results are greyed out and unable to click on. Please advise how i can fix this.
