Click start next to domains.

Your domain is not eligible for an account change if it s pending a contact update approval within one day of expiration expired or already undergoing an account change you ll need to downgrade your protection plan before beginning. Login to your godaddy account. Select the domain s to unlock and click the off radio button next to lock.

Next to domains click manage all. Please make sure to switch to the advanced list view. You can transfer a domain name from your godaddy account into another godaddy account with a domain account change.

Click the change domain link and choose one of the options. If the extension you d like to transfer isn t listed you can t transfer that domain name to us. The transfer process can take 7 to 10 days to complete.

On the next page click domain names transfers in the upper left. Transfer your domain from godaddy to another registrar by using our transfer away checklist. You won t be able to transfer your domain away if it s within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer if a 60 day lock was applied after updating domain contact information or if your domain has ownership protection if you are transferring a uk domain name you ll need to update the ips tag.

You ll need to prepare your domain name at your current registrar before completing the steps with godaddy. If your domain is already registered with godaddy you can move your domain to another godaddy account. There s a 60 day lock feature that prevents transfers out of godaddy any time updates to the first and last name organization name or email.
