Domain Join Option Greyed Out
When i go into system properties with the local admin account the options to change or rename a computer is grayed out the administrator for the previous domain say that the system needs to be wiped and rebuilt they will not assist in any other way.
Domain join option greyed out. I am working on a 2 year old acer desktop that was never used until now. I went to a technical college in the area. I am trying to join a domain and both the workgroup and domain sections are greyed out.
Guys i need to learn how to join a domain but my windows 10 pcs option to do this has been grayed out. Also when you look at the system properties dialogue box right click properties my computer there is no domain already shown there that might have been automatically joined during install with a script. Logged in as administrator.
You can try the command line of joining a domain to see if that works. Experts with gold status have received one of our highest level. How do i enable it.
The default configuration cannot join a domain and has the network id greyed out. Box is xp pro sp2 latest patches and such. Not a university or anything special.
I have a computer that came from a different domain i m wanting to take it out of that domain and connect it to our domain. If the join a domain option is missing on you windows 10 computer fix it by joining domain from this pc properties or use command prompt. Never seen this before.
