Mac Won T Join Domain
Macos sierra and later can t join an active directory domain without a domain functional level of at least windows server 2008 unless you explicitly enable weak crypto even if the domain functional levels of all domains are 2008 or later the administrator may need to explicitly specify each domain trust to use kerberos aes encryption.

The windows pcs are working fine but i have had issues with connecting the macs to shared folders they connect ok to the domain. We have 21 imacs running from the server el capitan recently upgraded and only one won t bind. In my opinion if you have a mobile mac user you probably wouldn t join it to your domain but would instead authenticate when needed.
When i try to join domain it asks for username and password then i get the network path not found.
